Landscape Master Plan
Streetscape
Park system
Drainageway improvements

Sugnet & Moore's landscape architects are providing design services for the public landscape framework of the 685 acre mixed use development. Construction for the first phase started in the summer of 2004. The overall landscape concept promotes a "walkable" community and uses materials reflective of the region. The network of greenbelts, parks, plazas and parkways provides connections and variety of usable outdoor spaces for the planned community.

The landscape at Three Springs demonstrates sustainable site design using techniques based on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles; managing stormwater quality on the surface, using recycled materials and incorporating low water planting.

The proposed park plan accommodates athletic fields and ponds while preserving and enhancing quality open space.

City of Durango Regional Park Master Plan

The firm developed a master plan for a City of Durango Community Park including athletic fields, picnic pavilions, playgrounds and other park uses.  The park site is located within the Three Springs development and provides a network of trails that link to the adjacent neighborhood.  The design process included workshops with the City and Three Springs developer to generate and evaluate several alternative schemes.

City of Mancos Boyle Park Renovation

Sugnet & Moore recently provided consulting services for the completion of construction documents for landscape improvements at Boyle Park in Mancos , Colorado . The improvements were built in part with a grant received from Greater Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) funds.

Saddlebrook Planned Development, South Fork - Wetland mitigation design

Sugnet & Moore completed a design for wetland mitigation improvements on a previously disturbed site along the Rio Grande River based on requirements by the EPA and US Army Corps of Engineers. The improvements create scenic views and add trails, viewing platforms and bridges within the mitigation areas.

Silverpick Planned unit development - landscape concepts and visual simulations

Sugnet & Moore created visual simulations of proposed development using 3-D computer software and hand sketch techniques. The project also included concept design for landscape renovations throughout the existing condominium and lodge site near Durango Mountain Resort.

Sketches simulate the appearance of proposed landscape improvements designed to accompany proposed expansions.
