Oil & Gas Regulatory Specialist
SME seeks detail-oriented environmental professional with a minimum of 5 years consulting experience in the oil and gas industry. Experience should include ESA and NEPA compliance work in the San Juan basin. Position requires ability to compile/assess baseline data, conduct necessary field work and produce well written technical documents - with the eventual opportunity to manage the firm's oil & gas group. Minimum BS in environmental sciences (or related field) also required with excellent computer and communication skills that can work effectively individually as well as in a dynamic team environment. Cultural Resources Specialist
SME seeks cultural resources specialist with a minimum of 5 years of consulting experience and qualifications to conduct work throughout the Four Corners region - especially as related to the oil and gas industry. The cultural resources specialist will analyze cultural resource data, conduct necessary field work, author cultural resource reports and cultural resource sections of NEPA documents and supporting documentation for 404 Permits. Individual will also assist in development of CRM business as time permits. Minimum BA in Anthropology (or related field) is required. Position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent writing, computer and communication skills that can work effectively individually as well as in a team environment. Wetland Scientist
SME seeks qualified individual to fill this position in its Durango, CO office. Applicant must have at least three years of consulting experience conducting wetland delineations/mitigation designs/permit processing, and general natural resources investigations (including T&E). BS/BA min. in biology, botany, soil science, or related field is required. Position offers excellent salary and benefits package.
